OMG! What is that? IVS coming back from the dead?
Well, I can't promise you anything, but let's say - hopefully! So, I decided to cut a clear line and put pretty much everything into storage. XD Sooo, if you are missing something, lemme know and I'll try dig it out again. ;3 Other than that, I decided to start over new. I only kept a few horses very dear to me (Wolferl, Anonymous, Yeti, Sherlock, my CDHs) and the rest, yeah, let's say they were one chapter and now we shall try to open up another. ;3 I also will likely get some new staff people. I'm not yet sure, if they will be all new or if some peeps may return.
I have sit it upon myself to get many of the horses new refs, though. I also kept breeds like Nordanners, DNs and Obertaurers up, since they were all registered in groups and yeah, they are still there, but I can't promise they will be used for much...or anything. I wanna give this a whole new approach without breeding for myself and the focus on character development between horses and staff.
Anyway, yeah, I'm still alive! Woop!
Hey guys! :3
Just wanted to let you I'm still here. I just came to the point that IVS became way too large with way too many characters and am now in the works of really giving it a big work-over! I already told about my plans before, I believe, but now I am determinded to make them reality and like that hopefully bring back some more inspiration for my stable. ;3 So, what's gonna happen?
- Many horses will go into 'The Void' meaning they are still here, but not officially part of the stable or any stories. You may still breed to most of them, but otherwise they will no longer be part of stable life, unless I chose to bring back one for whatever reason that might occur.
- The horses will me divided into 'Stable Horses', who are those living at IVS and being ridden during events and stuff. 'Free Horses' which are those living around IVS, but not entering any events, mostly being used for stories and 'Foals', because, yeah, foals are cute.
- The staff also was reduced to the core, because I just had too many people hanging around IVS, now each got one horse, or three at the most, in Heather's case and that's that. I will also probably add a little moar fantasy to the staff again, because most of them (or their 'original' selves, used to be fantasy chars, so, I might bring that back some).
- Because: No more breeding for IVS. I will no longer age my horses, they'll just stay the way the are now.
- Nordanners, Obertaurers and Iceland horses still have their own folders you can look them up in, in case you want a breeding, because those breeds are still special to me.
Yeah, those are my plans for now. I dunno how long I'll take to get everything the way I want it to be, but I just wanted to give you guys a little heads-up. I'll also maybe draw new sheets for the remaining horses and finally get my breeds new sheets, too. XD
If you want to see my artwork in the meantime (or my writting, for that matter) please have a look at my other gallery -

Greifenstein Equestrian Centre
The Greifenstein Equestrian Centre is basically the NPC antagonists to Inglorious Vikings Stables. If you'd like some posh, stuck-up people as antagonists for plots or alike, feel free to drop me a quick note and use these guys, they were made to be the "bad guys". ;3 The Greifenstein Equestrian Centre has an old tradition of high-class riding standard and only owns as well as breeds horses of the most excellent pedigree. They are very much against Obertaurers, seeing them as oversized mountain ponies that have no place in the world of true equestrian sports. They are also against breeds like icelandic horses, haflingers, norwegian fjords, cross breeds or draft horses being used in disciplines such as dressage or haute ecole as well as racing or jumping, for that matter. These horses should stay were they belong, Obertaurers especially. They also highly disapprove of the use of fantasy and magical horses in competitions in general or pretty much even only having them
Not yet in Valhalla
Hej skuld! ;) I just wanted to give you guys a little heads-up on the fact that - despite the world falling apart recently - I am not dead. XD I hope the whole, ya know, situation has been relativly kind to most of you as well.
Inglorious Horses
Competition Horses: These horses are the active, competing horses of IVS for shows and general RPGs. They are always open for roleplays as well as general mischief. They live at the castle together with the humans and can for the most part be considered domestic. Roaming Horses: These horses roam freely in the Western Woods around the castle. Some choose to live in the grounds with the humans others prefer to stay in the forest. They are all not tame and definitely aren't all overly trustworthy. Foals: Naturally there are also some foals living at the castle always ready for fun and adventure. Pleasure Horses: These horses usually don't compete and are mostly used for pleasure riding, schooling and other fun activities. Some also belong to private owners who just board their horses with IVS. Many of these horses are open for breeding too, so again, if you're interested just drop me a note. Obertaurers: IVS pride and joy - their Obertaurer breeding program. Find all studs and broods

Good plan, I think My FFS is functioning with most horses frozen (open for breeding but not competing) and just focusing on a couple for each discipline at once. It's much more manageable that way
