Once hearing about the Fun In The Sun Race Cheshire Farms was hosting and that it would be all about working as team, Jack and Charlie of couse wanted to participate. Not to mention, Jack also wanted to see the awesome ground Charlie had told him about, from the last time he had taken part in the Orange Blossom Endurance Race.

They let coincidence decide who would go first and who would go second and coincidence decided that Charlie would be the one to go first.
"Whatever you do. Do me the favour and just don't get lost.", was all Jack said before Charlie set off to conquer the first of the two tracks.
"I hope you're prepared for some running today.", he then however mumbled to Hattie, who was standing beside him awaiting her turn, the mare's ears just twitching. Why yes, she also thought Charlie would get lost. He always did.

Charlie has chosen to bring Cocaine, because despite his at first skeptic attitude towards the painhorse, once getting to know him better the stallion had turned out to be a very reliable and good horse.
Also this time they made it to the first and second Pit Stop without all too much trouble and, in what Charlie thought, a fairly good time. However, the questions he was asked about horsemanship as part of the game apparently confused him so much. Once they had reached the orange check point he had the feeling he had no single clue where to go anymore.

Kneeing down and checking the map, while other riders passed by to have their questions asked, horses checked and be off again, Charlie was lost deep in thought over the map. God. Where to go?
When all of the sudden he found a gloved hoof placed on his knee. Looking up he found Cocaine standing there, looking down at him with these red, expressionless orbs of his. However, to Charlie they spoke more than words. Almost as if the stallion wanted to say that they were here and now Charlie better throw that saddle and bridle back on him, so they could get going.
"Okay. If you think so.", Charlie then finally just said after his first suprise. It seemed he had found his perfect endurance race partner. A horse with a better sense for orientation than he had. And he apparently could read maps, too. Handy.
